"A cross between a flea market & craft market, there will be plenty of bargains to be had as well as lovingly handcrafted goodies which you won't see on anyone else.Not only is this a place to showcase emerging creative talent but it's also a fundraising event for the cinema (run by hard working volunteers), so you can feel like you're doing your bit, while you shop.The bar will be open so you can warm yourself up with a hot drink whilst listening to some ace tunes. There will be a DJ from 1pm.The Star And Shadow is at the top of Ouseburn Valley, opposite the Tanners pub at the city end of the Byker bridge, so not far from town. Only 5 mins walk from town and the venue is wheelchair/buggy friendly."
